Lluís Domènech i Montaner used an old house to build this residence, between 1918 and 1920. The house closes the Sant Domènec Riera and clearly looks to the sea with no obstacles. The outside presents a mixture of medieval and more modern styles. To the back of the house there is the “Rocosa”, an old country house where Domènech i Montaner had his study. This home is from the sixteen-seventeen century and there is a combination of traditional and “art nouveau” elements. The museum house is inside the two buildings where the life and works of the architect can be followed.
